AGAM Jointing Compound

Non-hardening jointing compound for sealing threaded connections, designed for use with plumber’s flax.

AGAM Jointing Compound is designed for sealing threaded connections in water, heating, gas and compressed air systems. Used together with plumber’s flax, it helps create a reliable seal, impregnates the flax fibres and protects threaded connections against corrosion.

The compound does not harden or dry out, allowing connections to be dismantled even after a long period of service.

Maximum operating temperature: 130°C
Maximum operating pressure: 16 bar

Instruction

1.Clean and degrease the thread.
2. Apply a thin layer of the jointing compound to the thread.
3. Wind the plumber’s flax evenly around the thread.
4. Apply another layer of the jointing compound over the flax.
5. Assemble and tighten the threaded connection.
